Absinthe
Absinthe has a terrible reputation for either making people crazy or tasting horrible. Neither is true. There is a lot of cheap, foul Absinthe available for people who don't know any better and buy into the myth of its magical intoxication. But real Absinthe tastes a lot different, often of herbs, and won't make you anymore drunk than any other similar alcoholic beverage. It's a bit like wine. I for once love drinking good Absinthe, especially in nice company.
Luna Lovegood
When Luna appeared for the first time in OotP, I fell in love with her instantly. She is a strong little girl who speaks out her mind and knows a lot more about the people around her than you'd think. Her unashamed quirkiness makes her even more adorable!
Marilyn Monroe
What can I possibly say about my love for Marilyn Monroe? She was a true star. Talented, beautiful, strong, mesmerizing and fragile all into one. Her transcendent charisma sparks any movie she plays in and makes her photographs so enticing. I'm totally fascinated by her and wish I could have met her in person. There can never be anyone like her ever again.
Pin Up Art
Pin Up art is eroticism done tasteful. It is playful, cheeky, never degrading, and doesn't take itself too seriously. I really wish we could gain back this mix of innocence and titillation.
Romeo + Juliet
A mix of classic and modern made into a great movie. What impressed me the most about this rendition was its aesthetics. The whole atmosphere was young, electrified and, in a strange way, very artsy. You just can't go wrong with Shakespeare.
Yarn
Soemtimes I feel about yarn like I feel about food. I'll exclaim how yummy and tasty certain balls and hanks of yarn look and really long to have them. I believe it's about the colours and the different textures and how good they fit together or not. And probably because I love knitting and crocheting.
